ETERNAL LIFE.
John 3:16 " For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have Eternal Life.”
                When you got born again (forsaking your sins and confessing that Jesus died and rose again for our sins-Romans10:9), you received a measure of Eternal Life, which was what transformed you to becoming a new creature in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17)… But becoming a new Creature in Christ isn’t just about God wiping away your past life of sin and iniquities, becoming a potential citizen of heaven, or having the title “born-again”. No, it’s also about having your mind renewed to the mind of Christ, handing you free-will to God and allowing Him to perfect His Will for your life, changing your life goals, making God your top priority, becoming perfect and Glorious like Christ is…That’s what it’s about.
                A measure of God’s Eternal Life (the substance in God that makes Him God) was given to you when you got born-again which triggers/ gives you the power/ ability to rule and reign in this life. I don’t mean becoming a king, what I mean is that you can now dominate the sin –nature, overcome temptations, persecutions, trials (by the Word, the Blood and the Spirit, and by His sufficient Grace which comes through humility). As you diligently practice these on a consistent basis, God releases more Life into you with which you can release power (in a sufficient measure) to control/influence your circumstance (and possibly that of others) through “effectual and fervent prayer”; that’s how you reign in this life… The measure to which you rule and reign in this life will determine the measure to which you’ll rule and reign in the life to come (the Millennial reign).
                There’s more, “Eternal Life is a substance, when it enters your spirit, soul and body in sufficient measure, enables you to know God”- Pastor Olubi Johnson.
 John 17:3 says; "And this is ETERNAL LIFE, that they may know YOU, the ONLY TRUE GOD, and JESUS CHRIST, whom thou hast sent".
According to this verse and the preceding quote, Eternal Life is also about knowing the TRINITY of GOD; it’s about receiving wisdom and revelation knowledge about THEM. So I guess it's appropriate to say " Eternal Life is also a thing of the mind"; it's about developing the seed of the mind of Christ that was planted in you when you got born again,  developing the likeness and character of God in you; becoming perfect, like Christ is...
  1 John 5:11 “and this is the record, that God has given to us everlasting life, and this life is in His Son.”
                 So as you read, study and DO the Word, you gradually attain a greater measure of Eternal Life. You must also keep His commandments as you walk in love and under His light, living a life pleasing and acceptable in His sight. As you do these on a consistent basis, the seed grows, making you act more like Christ. These make the ETERNAL NATURE of the Life of Christ develop in you.
                Attaining the full measure of Eternal Life should be the goal of your Christian walk because only with it can you truly be called a "a son of GOD”, and an inheritor of His Kingdom. And only those who attain the full measure of Eternal Life will witness the Glory of the latter house and partake of its manifestation, in and through us.
Deuteronomy 30:19-20  I call Heaven and earth to record today against you. I have set before you LIFE and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore, choose LIFE, so that both you and your seed may live,  (20)  so that you may love Jehovah your God, and that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him. For He is your LIFE and the length of your days, so that you may dwell in the land which Jehovah swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give it to them.

     1 Timothy 6:12  Fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold on eternal life, to which you are also called and have professed a good profession before many witnesses.

“Brace yourself; the task ahead of you is never as Great as the Power Within you.”

LIVING AT PEACE

   In my 2nd article, I wrote "your definition of peace shouldn't necessarily be that no trials or harm would come your way, but having an assurance that no matter what comes your way, God will always be there to see you through. I know that at this point in time, living a life filled with peace is not that easy due to the economic crisis, natural disasters, terrorist attacks, increase in  all sorts of crime and other things like that. But as true believers that shouldn't bother us, because God said in Psalm 91, summarizing, that "we will live a long and peaceful life"  so it's up to us to believe it. Living a peaceful life isn't something that's gonna happen automatically when we get born-again, we have to pray for it daily, without ceasing because the evil, being the ruler of this world, constantly has his eyes on true believers because they are a threat to his kingdom. Don't Awaken Love

"Don't awaken Love until it pleases" Three times was this statement made in the book of Songs of Solomon (SOS 2:7, 3:5, 8:4) and I believe that statement needs to be echoed louder in this generation. Welcome to my generation where we want a quick fix,  instant noodles,  fast food,  even Fast and the furious- on a lighter note.  Although the rate of getting somethings done can be accelerated, this doesn't apply to Love. In other words,  Love needs time. Like a butterfly, Love is an organism that metamorphises on its own as the Creator fashioned it to be,  and it develops with Patience There's been an increase in the rate at which break-ups and divorce cases occur and I strongly believe it's tied to this simple reason, we awaken Love too early.
