If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 You probably remember the song that goes: “My body is your sanctuary; Purify me as gold, So that I’ll be bold to say; My body is your sanctuary” The song combines both scripture I mentioned above, our body is God’s temple and should be pure; holy and acceptable. It is important that we take note of the oxymoron in Romans 12, “Living sacrifice” a sacrifice is usually a slaughtered animal of some sorts, but here it says we are to be living, breathing, moving sacrifices. How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. (Psalms 119 vs 9)NIV There was a particular period I was reading a book (Face to Face with God) by Bill Johnson of Bethel Church, he gave an illustration about being shaped or conformed unto the image of Christ. “A man asked a sculptor how he was going to make an elephant from the irregularly shaped stone, the sculptor replied quite simply and fascinating. A group discussion on SEXUAL PURITY would be a very quiet one when compare to other discussions most for the time.  It could be a depressing moment for some people, especially for the ones who were violated: I hope you release the pain and embrace the one who comes with Healing Arms to Comfort.
