TEACH ME LORD (A POEM).

Teach me Lord to do your will,
 to rise and soar on eagle’s wings.
Teach me Lord to see beyond this moment here,
and to believe that there is nothing left to fear.

Teach me Lord to pick up my cross and follow you,
 and do diligently all you ask me to.
Teach me Lord to watch and pray;
and to discern wisely so I don’t go astray.

Teach me Lord to live like You,
and to live with a heart of gratitude.
Teach me Lord to shine my light,
 to walk by faith and not by sight.

Teach me Lord to honor You:
not just with my words, but with my attitude.
Teach me Lord to respect all;
either big or small, rich or poor.

Teach me Lord to boldly speak the Truth;
and to allow it dominate my thoughts, and actions too.
Teach me Lord to become who you say I am,
more than a conqueror, and an overcomer.

Teach me Lord to number my days;
and to acknowledge You in all my ways.
Teach me Lord to live a life free of sin,
that I may be found in your sight pleasing.

And above all, help me Lord, to learn of you, and be of a meek and lowly heart.

AMEN!!!

LIVING AT PEACE

   In my 2nd article, I wrote "your definition of peace shouldn't necessarily be that no trials or harm would come your way, but having an assurance that no matter what comes your way, God will always be there to see you through. I know that at this point in time, living a life filled with peace is not that easy due to the economic crisis, natural disasters, terrorist attacks, increase in  all sorts of crime and other things like that. But as true believers that shouldn't bother us, because God said in Psalm 91, summarizing, that "we will live a long and peaceful life"  so it's up to us to believe it. Living a peaceful life isn't something that's gonna happen automatically when we get born-again, we have to pray for it daily, without ceasing because the evil, being the ruler of this world, constantly has his eyes on true believers because they are a threat to his kingdom. Don't Awaken Love

"Don't awaken Love until it pleases" Three times was this statement made in the book of Songs of Solomon (SOS 2:7, 3:5, 8:4) and I believe that statement needs to be echoed louder in this generation. Welcome to my generation where we want a quick fix,  instant noodles,  fast food,  even Fast and the furious- on a lighter note.  Although the rate of getting somethings done can be accelerated, this doesn't apply to Love. In other words,  Love needs time. Like a butterfly, Love is an organism that metamorphises on its own as the Creator fashioned it to be,  and it develops with Patience There's been an increase in the rate at which break-ups and divorce cases occur and I strongly believe it's tied to this simple reason, we awaken Love too early.
