THE JOURNEY (a POEM).

Getting saved, what a wonderful experience.
I must say, it’s the best thing ever.
Because now I’m free from the bondage of sin,
The devil no longer has power over me.
God’s turned my life in a whole new direction,
And now I see the world from a new dimension.
All I wanna say is “FATHER THANK YOU”,
For accepting me back though I was a fool.
 For taking me out of the miry clay and mud
And setting me on Christ the Solid Rock.
I now boldly set out on this journey
Knowing fully well that my Father’s got me.
A journey to the Promised Land.
To discover and become all HE says I am.
Tough, I know this journey will be,
But “in me” is all the strength I need.
The road is crooked, and narrow too,
But His Spirit I have to see me through.
Though I know I might grow weak and faint,
I don’t care, because I’ve got His Grace.
The devil has laid his traps and dug his pits
But GOD has put HIS Angels charge over me.
With my mind renewed, and my strength restored,
I put on my full armor and pick up my cross.
And like a city set on a hill,
The whole world will see my light shine for HIM.
AMEN!

LIVING AT PEACE

   In my 2nd article, I wrote "your definition of peace shouldn't necessarily be that no trials or harm would come your way, but having an assurance that no matter what comes your way, God will always be there to see you through. I know that at this point in time, living a life filled with peace is not that easy due to the economic crisis, natural disasters, terrorist attacks, increase in  all sorts of crime and other things like that. But as true believers that shouldn't bother us, because God said in Psalm 91, summarizing, that "we will live a long and peaceful life"  so it's up to us to believe it. Living a peaceful life isn't something that's gonna happen automatically when we get born-again, we have to pray for it daily, without ceasing because the evil, being the ruler of this world, constantly has his eyes on true believers because they are a threat to his kingdom. Don't Awaken Love

"Don't awaken Love until it pleases" Three times was this statement made in the book of Songs of Solomon (SOS 2:7, 3:5, 8:4) and I believe that statement needs to be echoed louder in this generation. Welcome to my generation where we want a quick fix,  instant noodles,  fast food,  even Fast and the furious- on a lighter note.  Although the rate of getting somethings done can be accelerated, this doesn't apply to Love. In other words,  Love needs time. Like a butterfly, Love is an organism that metamorphises on its own as the Creator fashioned it to be,  and it develops with Patience There's been an increase in the rate at which break-ups and divorce cases occur and I strongly believe it's tied to this simple reason, we awaken Love too early.
