THE GOSPEL.
The Gospel of
Christ, the indisputable Truth and Word of His. According to Romans 1:16, the
Gospel is “the power of God unto Salvation to everyone who believes”.
Not just the Salvation of our Spirit, but more importantly, the Salvation of
the mind, soul and body. Sadly, majority of Christians stop at the Salvation of
the spirit, when they got born again, limiting the extent to which the power of
God can operate in their lives and the extent to which they can prosper. 3John1:2, Ephesians
3:20.
About prosperity,
the Gospel is a pre-requisite, as seen in Matthew 11:5.
Jesus said “the poor have the Gospel preached to them”.
He didn’t say “the poor will I miraculously provide for
or feed”. This shows how important the Gospel is, to those who want to
be prosperous in this life, and in that to come.
The Gospel/ Word
of God shouldn’t be something you only read/ study, you must also keep it,
allowing it to influence and dominate your thinking, mindset and character as
you diligently do all it says. Saturate yourself in the Gospel, let it affect
your life, renew your carnal mind (daily), causing the light in you to shine
brightly before all men/ nations like a city set on the hill. The Gospel should
so much influence you that when people see you, they’ll also see
Jesus, The Hope of Glory, working, dwelling and manifesting Himself in you to
others. Preach the Gospel, not just with your mouth, but also through your
lifestyle, walking in love and under His Light, witnessing for Christ…
until the whole world hears.
Standing for the
Gospel comes with its weight and burdens, trials, tribulations and persecution,
that’s why we have access to His never ending mercies, ever
Sufficient Grace and never failing Strength. This might sometimes be difficult,
but no matter what “don’t be ashamed of the Gospel”,
no matter the circumstance, don’t compromise with the standards of the
world. The Will of God will never lead
you where the Grace of God cannot keep you. If “it” comes to you, He who is faithful, God
will definitely bring you through “it”. Acts14:22
You don’t
need to be a pastor, or a preacher or any such to be a witness of the Gospel,
(your lifestyle or actions are enough, to start with). God reveals His Truth to
the few who (are willing) to give themselves to Him, with a broken heart, a
contrite spirit and an open or (being) renewed mind. Those who’ll
submissively follow His instructions, ready to set apart themselves for Him,
His Glory, His Perfect Church. He doesn’t really care how old/ young you are,
what you’ve been through, how dirty you’ve been. He can change all that Isaiah 1:18, 2Corinthians 5:17.
God’s
looking for vessels of Honor, through who Hewill reveal His Glory in these last
days, hearts that will love all (including the sinner, but not the sin) the way
Jesus does, minds that are conformed and made perfect to the mind of Christ.
Showing the world that Jesus wasn’t kidding when He said a Greater than
Solomon would arise; making the wisdom of this world foolishness, and the
strength of this world weakness. Matt 12:42,1 Corinthians 1:27-28.
God’s
looking for, calling you; the new breed of Christians. Don’t
fail Him, He might not call you now, but still, follow Him, keep running the
race, chasing after God. Ask God to give you a discerning Spirit, so you can
know that Sweet voice of His and know when He is calling you, so you won’t
answer Him late.
You are destined
for Greatness in God’s Kingdom, and to this world, but not in
it. God wants you to bring Glory to His name, to the ends of the earth.
Remember, if you
deny Christ or His Gospel here on earth, He will deny you before His Father in
heaven.
Grace be with you. Amen.
