SUCCESS (a Poem)

Success, something we all try to attain in life. A major distinguishing factor between one man and another. Success is not about how famous you are, neither is it about how much you have. It's about achieving a goal that's in accordance to God's will, doing something that will i9nfluence the life of others positively. Is it really worth it when it's gotten at the expense of your soul? Or if you can't explain how you achieved it? If your answer's 'NO", may GOD crown your effort with success. If it's 'YES', may GOD have mercy on you. Success, it's a gift from GOD to those HE love. A reward to those who seek HIM diligently. A prize to those who fall many times and yet rise up... Success is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of GOD that showeth mercy. GOD’s PROMISES. In the last article, I wrote “ without faith , God’s promises have no basis or strong foundation in our lives ”. Eventually, the Israelites defeated the Amalekites, and after their victory, God made to them a promise of “completely taking out the Amalekites.”…God didn’t give Moses the instruction of telling Joshua to take some men to fight against the Amalekites; neither did He tell Moses to go upthe mountain, holding the rod in his hand while they were fighting.
