ECHOES OF HIS SPIRIT

     Mark 8:2-8 is a scripture very popular in the Christiandom, how that Christ fed 4000 people with 7 loaves and a few fish after they were with Him for 3days. But what if I tell you it's symbolic of the state of the Believer? How that the believer "by faith" identified with the death, burial and resurrection of Christ which happened in 3days (Mark 8:2, Romans 6:3-8 and Col 2:12) and as a result partook of the Victory and Glory of the Risen Christ. But hold on, we didn't just partake "partially", Mark 8:8 said "they ate and were filled..." same with us, as John 1:16 says we received of His Fullness; to what end? that we may walk in Newness of life (Rom 6:4), reign in like as Kings (Rom 5:17). John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.      When we got saved, at New Birth, we freely received Eternal life with which God recreated our spirits, making us become new creatures in Christ Jesus. But it doesn’t stop there, that’s just the foundation (the salvation of our spirits).   John 17:3 says “ This is eternal life, that they may know you, the only True God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.”      From the verse above, you’ll see that Eternal life is also about knowing God, having an experiential knowledge of who He is and having your identity in Him. So, better put, ETERNAL LIFE is the nature of God which He released into our recreated spirits at New Birth which enables us dominate the unsaved soul and body, and transform them in salvation, consequently making us able to live with God now and for all ETERNITY in the “FULNESS and LIKENESS of HIM”.     What Eter

    It is basic knowledge in Christianity that we have a GLORIOUS inheritance in GOD. But now, Ephesians 1:18 says "...having our eyes flooded with light that we may know the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His Glorious inheritance in His saints (His set-apart ones)."...                     That scene in every James Bond's movie, when James Bond shoots (probably at someone) and then blood covers the whole screen… notice he is seen through a lens.          You know, that’s how God sees every believer, under the blood of His Son Jesus Christ ( Ephesians 1:7 ).          Assume you were James bond, God saw you through the lens of Grace, it WAS your nature to sin, yet He loved you, He still does ( Romans 5:8 ).         Take a look at Numbers 20:3-5, where the Israelites were once again complaining about how they preferred their lives in Egypt... The same place they were living in bondage; yet they wanted to go back to labouring like the world instead of labouring like God's people "in Rest".        Now, majority of us can identify ourselves with that, though out of the world, we're still labouring like them, yet expecting great results.        John 17:14b and 1 John 3:1 say we are not of the world; they don't know us.   Since the world do not know us, it means they have no clue about how we should labour/ live our lives to ge the kind of results we should get as "Children of God".
