PARADIGM SHIFT

        Take a look at Numbers 20:3-5, where the Israelites were once again complaining about how they preferred their lives in Egypt... The same place they were living in bondage; yet they wanted to go back to labouring like the world instead of labouring like God's people "in Rest".
       Now, majority of us can identify ourselves with that, though out of the world, we're still labouring like them, yet expecting great results.
       John 17:14b and 1 John 3:1 say we are not of the world; they don't know us.
 Since the world do not know us, it means they have no clue about how we should labour/ live our lives to ge the kind of results we should get as "Children of God". Yet we copy them; expecting to beat them at their game.
      See, if you want to be the best; you have to labour in God's rest( through the Word and prayer), and not like the world.

      We Christians should stop competing with the world, we're above them, IN CHRIST... We're meant to dominate them with a HUMBLE HEART.
  

       Domination not Competition.

LIVING AT PEACE

   In my 2nd article, I wrote "your definition of peace shouldn't necessarily be that no trials or harm would come your way, but having an assurance that no matter what comes your way, God will always be there to see you through. I know that at this point in time, living a life filled with peace is not that easy due to the economic crisis, natural disasters, terrorist attacks, increase in  all sorts of crime and other things like that. But as true believers that shouldn't bother us, because God said in Psalm 91, summarizing, that "we will live a long and peaceful life"  so it's up to us to believe it. Living a peaceful life isn't something that's gonna happen automatically when we get born-again, we have to pray for it daily, without ceasing because the evil, being the ruler of this world, constantly has his eyes on true believers because they are a threat to his kingdom. Don't Awaken Love

"Don't awaken Love until it pleases" Three times was this statement made in the book of Songs of Solomon (SOS 2:7, 3:5, 8:4) and I believe that statement needs to be echoed louder in this generation. Welcome to my generation where we want a quick fix,  instant noodles,  fast food,  even Fast and the furious- on a lighter note.  Although the rate of getting somethings done can be accelerated, this doesn't apply to Love. In other words,  Love needs time. Like a butterfly, Love is an organism that metamorphises on its own as the Creator fashioned it to be,  and it develops with Patience There's been an increase in the rate at which break-ups and divorce cases occur and I strongly believe it's tied to this simple reason, we awaken Love too early.
