THE POWER OF ONE.

Noah, Abraham,  Moses, Joshua, Samson, Deborah,  David, Esther and Jesus.
These are some of the most remarkable Leaders in the Bible,  Jesus being the ALPHA-male.
And One awesome character about these Men was that when God needed a man to stand in the gap, start a work of deliverance, or birth something new in the earth, God started with just one of them in their individual seasons. Thus, the title of this write-up, "The Power of One": or better put "The Power of One who is totally dependent on God and submitted to His Will."

Jesus said "Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it." -Luke 13:18-19

Also  "Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." -Luke 17:21

Jesus said the Kingdom of God is like a seed, and it's within YOU (the Believer reading this). And this "seed" in you has the potential of becoming not just a tree,  but a Great Tree.
See I don't know what perception you've had of yourself thus far, but if it's anything less than being a great tree that will provide covering, food and shelter for MANY,  you need to  drop that idea NOW.

Don't think it's being humble,  cos its not! Humility is not thinking small of yourself, it's seeing and accepting YOU the way God sees YOU.  Anything above what God sees you as is pride, and even below too.

Apostle Paul described in His letter to the Ephesians the Kind of Power at work in us, he said its IMMEASURABLE. Now let me ask,  do you think God put an immeasurable amount of power in you so you could just get by in life?  I don't think so. (Ephesians 1:19)
He also described the Grace thats made available to us in his letter to the Romans, he said those who receive it will REIGN IN LIFE through Christ Jesus. Did he say you'll just get by?  Uhun! (Romans 5:17)

See we need to understand the life God has commissioned we believers to live,  He said in Genesis that we should "Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion..." (Genesis 1:28)
That's it.... A life of Leadership.

You might be thinking now of your background, how lowly your family might seem to be. But hey,  the writer of this article could have that excuse, but I won't, cos even David and Gideon could have had the same excuse as well.
(1 Samuel 18:23, Judges 6:15)

God's not looking out for someone who's strong and mighty to fulfill His Purpose on earth; rather, he's looking for someone who is broken and yielded to Him,  who finds  strength not in himself, but in God.
You know, God has a usual way of using the weak and poor to confound the strong and rich, that seems funny. And trust me, even if that person is at the bottom of the barrel,  God will find a way of bringing him up to the fore-front by Himself. (1 Samuel 2:8-9) Don't give up!

So Be strong in the Lord and in the Power of His might,  and go in this might of yours. Even if you're the only one God has called to that unique calling,  don't be intimidated, but stay true to yourself and your calling. For in a matter of time,  God will start bringing men from all over who will help birth that vision and bring it to fulfillment like he did with the leaders mentioned above.

That season of seeming obscurity or wilderness moment is when God  expects you to find your Identity in Him, to be more intimate with Him and strong in Him... For they that know their God will be strong and will do great exploits.

Ephesians 1:16-19(AMP) 16 I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers; 17 [I always pray] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation [that gives you a deep and personal and intimate insight] into the true knowledge of Him [for we know the Father through the Son]. 18 And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the [a]hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the [b]saints (God’s people), 19 and [so that you will begin to know] what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His [active, spiritual] power is in us who believe... In Jesus Name,  Amen.

P.S - "Our ability to build God's Kingdom isn't dependent on our talent, but our obedience. " -John Bevere.
