ECHOES OF HIS SPIRIT

                Basically, idolatry is the worship of carved images, deities, people, and things. Simply put, idolatry is the worship of anything other than The Almighty GOD, The Maker of All things. Idolatry is also covetousness i.e. wanting physical or material things above that which your present spiritual level can handle, I’ll talk more about this later on as God wills.                 From another perspective, idolatry is giving God no or less reverence than you should. If not all, most of us are guilty of this. 1 Corinthians 10:7-   Nor should we be idolaters, even as some of them, as it is written: "The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play."                  Does that look or sound familiar? All some of us do is “wake, EAT, DRINK, work, PLAY and sleep”.              We all profess to be Christians/ believers, our motto “ In Christ we believe ” . Because we were born again, we say we ’ re renewed, set free. I ’ m not arguing with you on that or anything I ’ ll just ask, does it show in your life, your deeds Being born again isn ’ t just a title for the free But the beginning of a journey … to be like HIM. To set ourselves apart from sin, the world Having your mind renewed, becoming a new creature Sadly, many don ’ t want or know of these. All they want is a one way ticket/ free pass to Heaven. Yeah, the might, but then what ’ s the essence of being called a Christian The ticket isn ’ t even sure, because if they ’ re not careful, they might end up in Hell. God called us out of darkness to be a light to the world. In this wicked world, spread His message of Love abroad. He called you to set a standard for your generation. And through your lifestyle, others may see the Good and Perfect work
