I know we've all felt down at some point.
Watching our walls almost crumbling down and destroyed.
Struggling, fighting paddling alone in fear to stay afloat.
Tossed to and fro by winds hitting against our little boat.

We start doubting, wondering if we'll make it.
Not because we can't, but because we operate through our flesh, ever weak.
We doubt if we have strength to keep moving, in us.
Truth is, we have all the strength we'll ever need in God.

Yeah, same God we sometimes ignore, with that silly attitude.
Forgetting that with Him, "All things are possible".
We dream Big but put God out of the equation.
And we end up building a sand castle with a weak foundation.

God said if you trust in Him, He'll never leave nor forsake you.
He'll build you up, renew your strength like an eagle's.
He'll be your Father, Comforter, Friend; your Shield and Savior
No matter what cones your way, He'll make you stand strong like Mt. Zion.

But sometimes, things get tough, not because the devil is bringing the storm.
But because its our fault, we're getting it all wrong.
Not because Life's giving us more than we can take.
But because God's keeping us from making a mistake.

So next time Life tries to knock you down in a fight.
Just believe, hold on, you'll win inspite.
And if, sadly, it brings you down low to your knees.
Just get high on prayer; remember that God said you wont know defeat.

LIVING AT PEACE

   In my 2nd article, I wrote "your definition of peace shouldn't necessarily be that no trials or harm would come your way, but having an assurance that no matter what comes your way, God will always be there to see you through. I know that at this point in time, living a life filled with peace is not that easy due to the economic crisis, natural disasters, terrorist attacks, increase in  all sorts of crime and other things like that. But as true believers that shouldn't bother us, because God said in Psalm 91, summarizing, that "we will live a long and peaceful life"  so it's up to us to believe it. Living a peaceful life isn't something that's gonna happen automatically when we get born-again, we have to pray for it daily, without ceasing because the evil, being the ruler of this world, constantly has his eyes on true believers because they are a threat to his kingdom. Don't Awaken Love

"Don't awaken Love until it pleases" Three times was this statement made in the book of Songs of Solomon (SOS 2:7, 3:5, 8:4) and I believe that statement needs to be echoed louder in this generation. Welcome to my generation where we want a quick fix,  instant noodles,  fast food,  even Fast and the furious- on a lighter note.  Although the rate of getting somethings done can be accelerated, this doesn't apply to Love. In other words,  Love needs time. Like a butterfly, Love is an organism that metamorphises on its own as the Creator fashioned it to be,  and it develops with Patience There's been an increase in the rate at which break-ups and divorce cases occur and I strongly believe it's tied to this simple reason, we awaken Love too early.
