ARE YOU REALLY BORN AGAIN OR DO YOU JUST “THINK” YOU ARE?

“Are you born again?”, if most so called Christians were asked this question, they’d boldly say “Yes”, because they accepted Jesus into their lives at one point or the other. Well, that’s true looking at it from that perspective. Now let’s take this further, shall we? See, being born again isn’t just a title you get when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, but more the beginning of a journey to be like HIM; it’s the 1 st of the 3 steps of Salvation, the first being that of the spirit, while the others are of the soul and the body. From this perspective, you’ll agree with me that most Christians fall into the category of those at the first step; just a few are at the 2 nd … the third? I’m not so sure about that.             Before I continue, let me clarify one thing, going to church doesn’t make you any better than someone who doesn’t IF you’re not a "hearer, doer and teacher of the Word…" Even the devil goes to church on Sundays to get updates on how

DANIEL, THE PERFECT STUDENT.

If you asked me, I’d say Daniel was the perfect student; he had a very good character, he excelled above all his peers, found favor in the eyes of his guardians and teachers, and he was handsome as well. It’s rare to find such a combo in one person, but Daniel and his 3 friends, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, had it. They weren’tborn with these abilities/ attributes, but instead, they developed it with “God’s Divine help”. That should give you some hope that you can become like Daniel, it gives me.             So in this article you’ll see how you can become a Daniel to your generation, with these 3 steps. 1.    Although Daniel was in a “sinful nation”, Babylon, where he could have easily compromised God’s standards, yet he purposed in heart to remain spotless from the world. Daniel 1:8 --- That’s how God wants us to live our lives, though we are in this world, God wants us to live like we’re not from it, He wants us to see ourselves as Christ’s Ambassa

IDOLATRY.

Basically, idolatry is the worship of carved images, deities, people, and things. Simply put, idolatry is the worship of anything other than The Almighty GOD, The Maker of All things. Idolatry is also covetousness i.e. wanting physical or material things above that which your present spiritual level can handle, I’ll talk more about this later on as God wills.                 From another perspective, idolatry is giving God no or less reverence than you should. If not all, most of us are guilty of this. 1 Corinthians 10:7-   Nor should we be idolaters, even as some of them, as it is written: "The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play."                  Does that look or sound familiar? All some of us do is “wake, EAT, DRINK, work, PLAY and sleep”. From this I can say the whole of humanity irrespective of each person’s religion is divided into 2; those who truly worship God and those who don’t. The sad thing is that some so-ca
