Don't be proud! Drop that burden

Why take the staircase to the 100th floor when you can just take the elevator to the same?

1 Peter 5:6-7  Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

According to the scripture above,  one of the expressions of True Humility is trusting God and letting go of your burden, allowing Him turn the situation around for your good.

Don't be deceived by thinking your problem is too small for God because He's got bigger things like war,  recession and the rest to handle. Uhun! He said He's got every hair on your head numbered and His thoughts towards you exceed the sand on the shore.

Oh yes, your Creator,  your Father, is crazy about you and His Love for you is even Out of this world. So humble yourself, let go of that burden and let God work it out for your good and unto His Glory.
In case it hasn't dawned on you,  it's actually pride for one to try to find, on his own ability, a solution to every problem or difficulty one faces cos it shows self-dependence and that to the end that he may take the glory for himself.

Don't be like that,  God expects you to be ever dependent on his Grace and Mercy to see you through every difficulty and even this race you're running... So Lean on Him

But what next after you lay down that burden?
Ever heard the saying, that even if you're on the right track if you don't move,  you'll get hit by a train?  How true that is, like in the case of Issachar.

Gen 49:14-15 "Issachar is a strong ass couching down between two burdens: And he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute.(KJV)"

Gen 49:14-15 "Issachar is a strong donkey,   lying down between its saddlebags. He saw a good place to rest and a land that seemed pleasant, So he bent down to shoulder another load and embraced a life of hard labor. (The Voice)"

See when you lay down that burden at the feet of the Master,  Move Forward!!! No what ifs,  just move in faith with a grateful heart. The tree may not wither and die immediately, but trust God that He's working from the root upwards.

As you continue this race in 2017,  be anxious for nothing but rather tell it to you ever Good and Loving Father who never condemns nor forsakes you. Don't run with a bag full of burdens, you know how that feels, rather let go and let God.

I pray your faith is made active now to let go as you receive strength to run In Jesus' Name.
God bless you.
