God has given the Believer "Rest"... not a break from Labour (part 2).

The Word and Prayer,  These are the Believer's weapons...

Jesus said in Matt 11:29-" Take my yoke upon you, learn of me,  for I am meek and lowly in heart,  and you will find rest for your soul".

So if you're gonna find the rest HE promised,  you'll have to Labour (in Rest and with a Victor's mindset ) in Prayer and in the Word.

Apostle Paul said in Acts 20:32  that "... the Word of His Grace is able to build you up... ": and Jude says in Jd 1:20 that you should "build up yourself on your Most Holy Faith (Gk- "Pistis" meaning Divine Conviction)".

See,  as you study the Word,  by the inspiration of the Spirit,  you get a revelation which enlightens your mind to the spiritual reality of your Perfect Spirit Man and as you meditate and act upon 'em, builds your soul -mind,  will and emotions- to that state of rest in Christ.

However, when you pray  with a conviction of the revealed Word,  you enforce the reality of your Spirit (The Kingdom of God) upon your physical realm (health,  finances,  environs e.t.c).  to have a physical experience of the Rest Jesus promised.

Furthermore,  you need to be meek and lowly in heart towards God and men,  and open to instruction and correction from your Father though it might seem like a yoke; for these will altogether steer you into a life of Shalom.

LIVING AT PEACE

   In my 2nd article, I wrote "your definition of peace shouldn't necessarily be that no trials or harm would come your way, but having an assurance that no matter what comes your way, God will always be there to see you through. I know that at this point in time, living a life filled with peace is not that easy due to the economic crisis, natural disasters, terrorist attacks, increase in  all sorts of crime and other things like that. But as true believers that shouldn't bother us, because God said in Psalm 91, summarizing, that "we will live a long and peaceful life"  so it's up to us to believe it. Living a peaceful life isn't something that's gonna happen automatically when we get born-again, we have to pray for it daily, without ceasing because the evil, being the ruler of this world, constantly has his eyes on true believers because they are a threat to his kingdom. Don't Awaken Love

"Don't awaken Love until it pleases" Three times was this statement made in the book of Songs of Solomon (SOS 2:7, 3:5, 8:4) and I believe that statement needs to be echoed louder in this generation. Welcome to my generation where we want a quick fix,  instant noodles,  fast food,  even Fast and the furious- on a lighter note.  Although the rate of getting somethings done can be accelerated, this doesn't apply to Love. In other words,  Love needs time. Like a butterfly, Love is an organism that metamorphises on its own as the Creator fashioned it to be,  and it develops with Patience There's been an increase in the rate at which break-ups and divorce cases occur and I strongly believe it's tied to this simple reason, we awaken Love too early.
